The picture W5000 throws is superb! I have it installed in my home made basement theater and the HD1000 (my previous best friend) is on ebay! Thanks to guys at proview for all the help and "special" attention, you know what I mean.

This is my first purchase of any projector, so I may not know what I'm talking about :) but W5000 just blew me away! Combine with my newly acquired blu-ray DVD player, it is a big jump from my previous setup. I'm very happy with my purchase! Thanks guys! |

Upgrading from Sanyo PLV-Z5, this is definitely an improvement in every aspect that matters. W5000 is sharper, has better colors, appears to be brighter too. Sanyo had a better zoom, but if you are installing - mounting the projector, you will not use that zoom function more then once! If the throw distance fits your room, this is a no brainer.
