HIGHER BRIGHTNESS AND RELIABILITY
Panasonic has designed new AC lamps to dramatically improve brightness and reliability. These new lampsare used on the 5700, 5100, and the 4000.
AC/DC Lamp System
The new lamps ensure longer lasting brightness by providing even electrode wear.In addition, rated brightness has been dramatically increased:The PT-D5700 is 6000 lumens, a full 1000 lumens brighter than its predecessor.The PT-DW5100 is 5500 lumens, again 1000 lumens brighter.The PT-D4000 comes in at an impressive 4000 lumens, 500 lumens brighter than the 3500.
Vivid Color
The D5700 and DW5100 also employ our proprietary color wheel, which produces more vivid color thanconventional single-chip DLP projectors by minimizing the blank space, or “spokes”, between colors.
Full 10 Bit Processing
Full 10-bit processing across the new D series ensures accurate, detailed images.
System Daylight View
Another Panasonic innovation found on the D5700/DW5100 is System Daylight View.System Daylight View offers three presets which optimize the color, brightness, and contrast for variousambient lighting conditions. Here we’ve brought our very successful Daylight View technology into the highend system product arena to further distinguish our products from the imitators and continue to lead theindustry as only a core manufacturer can.
Color Matching
We are thrilled to announce that we have added Color Matching capability to the D5700/DW5100. This isvery useful in applications requiring more than one screen. It also helps facilitate another key addition to thisproduct series.
Edge Blending
PT-D5700/DW5100 - now capable of blending up to 4 projectors without the need for external devices orsoftware. We’re sure you’ll agree that the addition of Edge Blending and Color Matching to the zoom andlens shift functions are a tremendous value.
Wide screen and high power brightness (PT-DW5100)
The PT-DW5100/DW5100L offers a full 5,500 lumens of brightness and WXGA wide-screen projection. Anewly developed AC lamp and a more efficient reflector and synthetic mirror produce crisp, sharp imageseven when projecting images with a wide aspect ratio in ordinary daytime lighting.
Noise reduction
Images are noticeably clearer, thanks to higher-performance frame noise reduction, which lowers imagegraininess, and improved MPEG noise reduction, which suppresses the block noise and mosquito noise thatare common in fast-action scenes.
3D color management system
Compensation provides optimal levels of color saturation, hue, and brightness that were not possible withconventional projectors. Colors approach those of the original image, even on large-screen displays.
